Wow, Sony in just one announcement has practically delivered one many fronts. First the new "home" online experience to draw in those who liked the live experience and then this game to draw in DS fans. What is next?
I haven't been this excited about a console for a LONG Time. Gamr this is definitely the hottest news for the year until PS4 is announced.
It seems to me that Halo will not be leaving us anytime soon and like Mario represented Nintendo, Master Chief represents Microsoft. great news for Halo fans everywhere.
That was simply amazing. If it actually works as well as they say, Sony's knew community will go unrivaled for a very long time. The interaction and the match making and the .... etc. etc. so much offered. But i won't get to hyped yet. I must see it in action personally. If it does work like in this video, it would truly be better that what XBox Live offers now.
Now let's See what Sony has up their sleeves.
Not sure how this will affect Sony, but Microsoft's influence on many websites and game blogs is undeniable.
Motorstorm is definitely one those games that make me say wow. Good thing i reserved a copy because i have a feeling it's going to sell like hotcakes.
Social gaming is clearly the next evolution and xbox live makes that clear. Playstation's "Home" will definitely build on that and i can only speculate that this will improve the online experience for every ps3 owner.
Could the increase in the SOE online fee mean the PS3's free online experience might eventually have a fee attached to it?
more details would be released because it would be a great addition to the live community
and more advertisement was done for it, they would stand a chance.
I wonder how it compares to heavenly swords variety of emotions..
3rd party products like Mad catz controllers are good enough for me. Basically the way i see it is that even though it's not 1st party equipment, you should still take good care of them and they will function properly for long periods of time. It's a matter of care.
It wouldn't hurt if it did. Even though Ps3 has its fair share of titles coming to the system between this year and next, this game would surely spark more interest in the system if it wasn't an exclusive. However, that is not the case so Xbox 360 will be enjoying this game by themselves.
It might actually keep me from playing gears for a week or two.
This game could have actually been released as a complete game and sold in stores but as digital distribution becomes more popular, in cannot but speculate that even more great games will be delivered via downloads Whether its the Sony network or Live, digital distribution is definitely picking up stride.
This game is beyond words... PS3 is definitely one console that will not disappoint this year. I leave in awe, too awe-stricken to further comment on what might be the best game of the year.
lol
agreed
What was the whole debacle about that incident? Didn't you come to an agreement that it was not the final game that was being showcased? If so, why shouldn't the same thought be applied to this situation? My point here is that in the same way the alpha build doesn't prove to be a viable account of the completed Halo 3 game, is the same way we can give Phil the benefit of the doubt that Killzone 2 will deliver. When it is Time.
But for now, let's all go "Home" and bask...
